Italian term

“polmone scarti pieno”

Yes, I'm sure The client shared a picture of the conveyor, and it's a conveyor lane where the discarded items are moved to. I saw that buffer/accumulation conveyors exist, and they are used to move items from the main part of the conveyor to another “area”, in order to wait for the next production phase. In my case, it's only discarded items moved from the main conveyor, where the inspection is carried out, to another lane. So I'm not sure if buffer/accumulation conveyor is the most accurate word.

I wonder if there's a clue in martini's last reference, where 'polmone' means 'buffer'. Could the idea be that a permitted number of units has been exceeded on a computer system?
philgoddard Apr 4:
Are you sure the 'polmone scarti' is part of the conveyor belt rather than an area of the factory, or something else?

'Polmone' seems an unusual choice of term, and 'via rulli scarti' is used earlier in the text.
