/is to / follow the legal fortunes of the items stored (held by a stakeholder)

-> 'follow the fortunes' is modelled on underwriters' reinsurance where the main insurance policy runs in parallel - see the first weblink where our ProZ colleagues have worked in such industry and Yours Truly in (boozer-encircled) Brick Court Chambers off Fleet Street in London West Central.

We need to know what the bienes refer to as *evidence of copyright or trademark* and where stored, notably a musical score, tapes, vinyl records or recordings, comedy sketches, an invention or a sealed envelope containing an investment scheme, whether real or non-existent in Africa etc. (actual notarially 'filed' scam).

Goods bailed would work in other contexts e.g. motor car repairs or coast taken to the cleaners or 'goods interpleaded' refer to a case where there is a dispute and the bienses are held by a 'stakeholder': one of the few instances where US Am. practise coincides with UK practice.

agree Andrew Bramhall : Yes, ' fate' rather than the more freewheeling and imprecise ' fortunes', as the law doesn't like to imply things happening by chance, as a rule.
