Dokument dotyczy testowania skuteczności oczyszczaczy powietrza w ograniczaniu ryzyka przenoszenia chorób drogą powietrzną w warunkach szpitalnych, z wykorzystaniem Micrococcus luteus jako patogenu testowego.
(...) five tests were performed without operating the air purification device in order to establish the natural decay rate of the airborne pathogens.
(...) The performance of the air purifier is calculated from the derived decay curve in terms of log10 / m3 / min or the number of seconds required to reduce the bacteria in 1 m3 by 1 x log10.
(...) A value of 0.264 log10 reductions has been deducted from each result, representing the mean decay in
bacterial numbers as measured in the same chamber without any air purification but with air mixing

vs
"naturalna szybkość rozkładu"
?
... bo wtedy z "tempo" jest wiecej wystąpień! :)
ożywione (bakterie, grzyby, pasożyty, protisty),
nieożywione (wirusy, priony)[,
chemiczne (substancje żrące, toksyczne),
niedobory pokarmowe,
fizyczne (światło lasera, promieniowanie jonizujące, silne pole magnetyczne, mechaniczne).

W tym pytaniu chodzi o bakterie, więc IMO szybkość/tempo/stała obumierania. Trzy opcje do wyboru.
W każdym razie: obumieranie, ponieważ bakterie = patogeny ożywione.
