Możliwe, że to kwestia różnic w określeniach między różnymi stanami - mniej więcej jak między ziemniakiem a kartoflem. ;-) Kwestia do wyjaśnienia przez autora tłumaczonego programu.

Moj US kumpei mowi, ze ten numer wystepuje na prawie jazdy, ale chyba bredzi (właśnie grilluje gdzies w Polsce ;)), bo jesli sprzeda sie samochod, to sprzedawca musi wymienic prawo jazdy ??

Czerwona nalepka z rokiem 2017, pod nim siedmiocyfrowy numer. Oprócz tego: pogrubiona litera S; w lewym górnym rogu litery CA (= California, I presume); w prawym górnym rogu nieczytelny napis (kolejny numer?). Czy ta nalepka = "car tag", a siedmiocyfrowy numer = "car tag number"?

@Andrzej, w linku, na który się powołałem nasz przyjaciel z US nazwał to naklejką, bo według opisu w internecie tag w tym przypadku jest to sticker naklejany na licence plate
