LCs and BGs Commission debited by Bank: The Accountant, through a request with Treasury Department, obtains Debit Advice from the Bank, containing details such as (a) Interest Rates as per Bank Sanction Letter, (b) Current Saudi Interbank Offered Rate (SIBOR) along with the (c) Details of LCs and BGs availed and (d) Interest differences on account of changes in SIBOR Rates. The Accountant re-computes the difference between the two interest rates and compares the same with the actual amount of commission debited by the Bank. In cases of any differences, the Accountant raises a compliant to the Bank for the differences in charges and follows-up for necessary actions.
