ilaç taşımasi

Here it does not mean "take medicine", it means that they allow the person to have the medicine with him/her. I am not sure if taşımasi works in Turkish or not, but the meaning is this and you should look for such a word

Hello Pervaneh, I know that it is clear from the sentence. However, you may check the context further, for example, may the patient refer to that office? Is the letter meant that they should give the patient those medicines? and so forth. Besides, who has written this letter, is he a native of English and..., anyway I believe using "carry" should have a reason and cannot simply be taken as "take" as this is a medical case and people care about the language they use. Hope the point can help.

To make my point more clear, imagine the doctor is referring the patient to an x-ray room or somewhere special where they can have something with them and the doctor is saying that the patient should have those medicine with him all the time... this is only an idea, you have the whole text and context and can decide better

Given the new context you shared, I agree with you.
