J'ai des difficultés à traduire "wide-open" car je ne comprends pas bien à quoi cela fait référence en l'absence de contexte précis…En effet, sauf erreur de ma part, parfois « wide open » qualifie le jet (exemple A), parfois, l'orifice (exemple B). Y-a-t-il un équivalent en français de « wide open » leak/regurgitation qui aille pour les tous les cas de figure ? Comment s'en sortir quand on n’a pas plus de contexte ?

If a patient had "wide open" mitral regurgitation where the regurgitant orifice was so large the left atrium and the left ventricle where acting as one chamber, a pressure differential would not exist. Since a pressure differential does not exist, a regurgitant jet may not be visible by color Doppler, even though the amount of regurgitation is severe. Using the eyeball test, one can qualitatively assess the amount of regurgitation only.
