Dear ProZ members,
I have a quick question about the following sentence from a cartoon. A girl buys a Christmas present (a pendant) for a man, and explains him why she chose it:
いつも同じものをつけてるから落ち着くのかと思って
(You always wear an identical one, so I thought I could settle on that.)
I don't know whether いつも同じものをつけ"る is meant to be "You always wear an identical one" or "You always wear the same things".
Also, I don't get whether 落ち着く is to be translated as "to settle/decide for that particular present", "to relax" (the man gets relaxed by wearing the pendant?) or something else.
Do you have any hints?

I'm pretty certain that いつも同じものをつけてる is referring to the fact that he often wears such accessories similar to the pendant she bought as a present. Also, 落ち着く is most likely referring to the man calming down from some situation due to her gift that he has some affinity for.
