English to French Tech/Engineering Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) sediment sampling

The survey was carried out to identify and map the physico-chemical and biological characteristics of the site prior to field development. Photographic data were acquired to assess the deepwater habitats and epifauna present within the survey area, with focus on the identification of potentially sensitive habitats or species. Sediment box core grab sampling was required to establish the physico-chemical and biological properties of the sediment. Seawater profiling was required to establish the characteristics of the water column. Seawater sampling was required to establish physico-chemical and biological properties of the water column.
