Such waxes impart additional water repellency to the composite product while not adversely affecting the aesthetics, strength, or subsequent processing (such as laminating, priming, or gluing) of the composite product. Waxes used may include, but are not limited to slack wax, paraffin wax, polyethylene wax, polyoxythylene wax, microcrystalline wax, shellac wax, ozokerite wax, montan wax, emulsified wax, and combinations thereof.
