I need your thoughts on this translation. I have to explain to English speaking audience how this phrase was translated and why it was translated that way. The phrase is "In God We trust" - "نحن نثق بالله"? I need a documented explanation so your thoughts are highly appreciated! Please explain in detail if possible.

بالله نؤمن
The order of the words is important to the original meaning. In English, it is "In God We Trust," and not "We Trust In God."
"In God We Trust" places more emphasis on the fact that it is God alone in whom the people have trust, and I believe it is the same in Arabic.
"We trust in God" is a plain statement and does not have the same depth of meaning.
That's why I would favor بالله نؤمن instead of نحن نثق بالله or even نؤمن بالله.

Regardless, I don't think anyone other than the translator himself can explain why the phrase has been translated the way it has. What type of explanation would one offer, other than to say that نحن نثق بالله means "We trust in God"? Only the translator can explain why he chose this wording rather than one of the other suggestions listed below.
