Clergy, cleric

Clergy is respectful, often used for official word for a religious figure in the Moslem thinking.
Mullah is a less respectful, often used for Iranian or Taliban or other conservative radical Moslem clerics, opposition and anti-Islamic regime figures use it to humiliate or disrespect statesmen or religious figures. Shall be used with cautious.
