Не съм срещал специален термин за това работно приспособление, Въздържам се да го нарека „каналокопач“, защото то не само прокопава траншеята, а и полага дренажната тръба. Пък и на английски plow/plough нерядко се използва за означаване на по-сложен работен орган или дори цяла машина.

Порових още малко – и мисля, че предложеният превод е адекватен. Объркването идва от думата tile, която тук тя се използва не в смисъл на плоча, а в наследеното (но в случая вече неактуално) значение на строителен елемент от керамика.

Единствената алтернатива, която виждам, е да се преведе като приспособление за полагане на дренажни канали – в смисъла, в който говорим напр. за кабелни канали: https://www.elkab-bg.com/56773.html
Проблемът обаче е, че понятието дренажен канал допуска и представата за открита канавка, докато тук става дума за подземен дренаж; освен това, както изглежда, днес се използват изключително перфорирани пластмасови тръби от различни видове и размери.

Ако се търси общо понятие, покриващо всички използвани (съвременни и наследени) варианти на drainage tiles, според мен е по-подходящо то да е дренажни тръби, а не дренажни канали.
