English to Portuguese Bus/Financial Finance (general)
In Finance and stock market trading, a floating leg is "a series of payments calculated by applying a variable rate of interest to a notional principal amount". https://theotcspace.com/content/floating-leg

It is related to the term "fixed leg".

Any ideas on how this is used by Portuguese and Brazilian traders?

Thank you Felipe, for your help. Unfortunately, the link you provide doesn't work. I found your choice of words somewhat unidiomatic. I did not mention in my description, but this is to feature in the T&Cs of a trading platform and so shouldn't allow for much ambiguitiy.

Thank you Lucília, for your help! The link you shared does not work though. Please note, the expression I am looking for is "leg" as in "floating leg". This is trader's jargon that doesn't transfer well to Portuguese, hence my question. All the best ;)
