Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Clinical trial terminology
These are two separate items listed next to each other, both requiring separate new consent forms.
One guess is that one of them is "rechallenge" and the other is "reinitiation", but which is which? Or is it "continuation" for повторное and "rechallenge" for возобновление? Available study docs indicate no dose ranging, no crossover, no blind, so it doesn't seem to be a matter of reassigning or adjusting the treatment.
PS Source Russian is clearly based on study documents translated from English (possibly badly)

repeated administration of the study treatment vs. rechallenge of the study treatment
Note from asker:

repeated administration of the study treatment vs. resumption of the study treatment
From the linguistic point of view, повторное назначение could be a repeated administration (de novo) whereas возобновление could be the resumption of a halted treatment.
Note from asker:
Linguistically, sure, but in the context of two different actions that each require separate consent forms... just not sure |
