French term

CRP compte-rendu de paiement

French to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s)
Hello everyone!
I have this sentence in a powerpoint presentation, I have no real context since it is about a confidential contract, it is in a check-list of threats involved in the contract.
Demande de cotation à XXX et provision à intégrer dans CRP
Pas de double-sourcing identifié, provision de XXX€ à intégrer dans CRP

Is there an official term, statement of payment? or payments report?

Thank you

OK I understand, c'est noté, je prends vos remarques en compte pour la prochaine fois.

Sorry, but that's a weird way to ask a question. "I'm guessing that this is what CRP means. In the unlikely event that my guess is correct, how would you translate it?"

You should simply have headed your question "CRP", and we would probably have concluded that there's no way of knowing what it means, unless there are other clues in the text.
jessjess (asker) Oct 18, 2021:
My question concerned how to say compte-rendu de paiement in English, since I anticipated the meaning of the abreviation, I did not ask what CRP means, here. So it is my guess, not yours, if the abreviation does not mean that then I will search for the right translation of its meaning. Meanwhile you have provided a very helpful answer to the question asked!
philgoddard Oct 18, 2021:
You said it stands for compte-rendu de paiement, and I believed you. You should have said it was a guess. In that case I have no idea what it means - there are countless possibilities.

Thank you for your quick answer phil!

Hello Phil, I was actually anticipating, I have submitted the question to know if CRP is actually compte-rendu de paiement, and asked the question to proz exoerts, dans la foulée!

payment report

Or payment statement, but that's slightly inelegant because it's two words ending in '-ment'.

That's assuming it does mean "compte-rendu de paiement" - does it say that elsewhere in your text?

This is unlikely to be the correct answer - see the discussion box.
