I know that "assetto" in medical terminology often refers to a profile, but I am not sure if this fits in this context. I have also found "chromosome structure", but that is the physical structure and isn't the same thing. Arrangement/setup??
I have this in two places in a short document.
Assetto STR del cromosoma 21: NELLA NORMA - Here I think that STR profile works as I have found hits for this.
But does it also work here:
"Assetto dei cromosomi sessuali: XX"?? Arrangement possibly? It just seems to relate to the actual chromosomes themselves, i.e. X and Y, so is anything else needed here?
