Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Acta de exhibición de documento
Hola:

requirement of serving as an evidentiary record

Declined
Acta de exhibición de documento : record of production (E&W previously civil-only discovery, now civil or criminal disclosure) of document, query: for use in litigation.

diligencia de testimonio, as opposed to testimonio de la diligencia (o acta en su caso)

imposición: neither a deposit of money, nor taxation here.

diligencia de testimonio: 'examination of the witnesses; taking of evidence', West. So unlikely to be an autheticated or certified copy here.

dilgenciar: entry 1. to serve 2. *Col.* to administer 3. to stamp, West.

'upon being administered by me with the relevant requirement of serving as evidentiary vs. evidential record'.

Example sentence:

The Government states that command investigations “serve as a means of compiling an evidentiary record for the Military Advocate General..."

Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : I don't think serving comes into this at all; it seems this is about the notarisation of a testimony/deposition/statement; we don't know the precise purpose and it is dangerous to presume

deposition of a witness' certificate of authenticity

From the aforementioned document, signed by Mr XX himself, I, the Notary, legitimised by his/her signature of it in my presence, deduce a copy, in black and white, a faithful reproduction of the original, whose original document, once it has been certified by me with the corresponding deposition of a witness's certificate under the terms provided for in Art. 207 of the Regulations, is delivered to the person now appearing before me".

Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : A "person appearing" cannot be transmuted into a witness; a dangerous presumption on your part

Where did I say that , or the text even suggest that the "witness" in the certificate and the " compareciente " are one and the same person? An undue extrapolation on your part."
