The clutch pack includes a plurality of first clutch plates, which are rotationally coupled to the outer clutch basket, and a plurality of second clutch plates that are interleaved with the first clutch plates and rotationally coupled to the clutch hub.
The second actuator includes the ball-ramp mechanism, a secondary clutch pack, a pair of apply plates and a secondary actuator.
In this context I would like an explanation and/or translation fo the term "apply plates".

Einrückscheibe
I'm ersten Teil wird eine Lamellenkupplung beschrieben. Im diesem Zusammenhang wird u.a. eine Einrückscheibe beschrieben.
Eine Reiblamellenkupplung besteht aus wenigstens einer Innen- und einer Außenlamelle. Die Innenlamellen sind mit einer Welle verzahnt und die Außenlamellen werden von einem innenverzahnten rohrförmigen Träger aufgenommen. Um das zu übertragende Drehmoment zu erhöhen, werden oft mehrere Innen- und Außenlamellen abwechselnd angeordnet, so dass bei gleicher Betätigungskraft durch die größere Belagfläche höhere Momente übertragen werden können.

In der beiliegenden Skizze ist die Wirkungsweise der Freilaufkupplung für eine Geschwindigkeitsstufe dargestellt. Auf der Welle a ist der innere Lamellenträger b auf einem Abschnitt mit Keilwelle aufgesetzt. Er trägt auf seiner Nabe eine verschiebbare Einrückscheibe c.

: "Einrücken" als Entsprechung zu "apply"? Das müsste man wohl etwas besser begründet sehen, wenn es überhaupt stimmt.
