Mini implants system
"La radiographie panoramique pré-opératoire montre un stade parodontal terminal, ainsi qu’une absence de calage postérieur." This documents deals with the use of mini implants to stabilise dentures. I cannot find a definition of what "calage" means in this context and am hoping that somebody can help me with this. The text seems otherwise to be fairly straightforward.

I've also looked at another link which I don't know how to post here as it's a PDF, but it shows two pictures of "calage": "calage dentaire", which shows two teeth locking/fitting together, and "calage mandibulaire", which shows two rows of teeth in an interlocked position. I would also try looking up "occlusion", which appears to be a relevant concept, if not the same thing as "calage".
"Calage" seems to be a desirable thing, from what I can gather, so an absence of it would presumably need to be rectified.
