High school transcript - abbreviation
Hello! Does anyone know what "ША" – followed by a number – stands for on a transcript? Like this: ША № 123456789.
It's on the third line from the top, after "Табель итоговых оценок успеваемости."
The transcript is from a high school (общеобразовательная школа) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and it is written entirely in Russian.
Thanks if you can help.

I would leave it as is in Cyrillic if possible.

IMO if ША is transliterated into Latin the doc itself will be difficult or impossible to trace or identify.

I guess your both suggestions would be fine. Personally, I would rather opt for the second one i.e. a 2-letter series designator. And you are right about the Russian for that.

Note from asker:
I think we could call this (ША, for example) an alphabetical series designator, or a 2-letter series designator. Looks like the Russian for that would be |
Thank you! And I think you are right, again: "2-letter series designator" (or 3-, etc., as the case may be) does appear to be the more commonly used term in English. |

Comment: "Спасибо большое, interprivate! Thank you for taking the trouble to explain this and to find such a helpful reference source. I agree with you and Turdimurod that ША should be left in Cyrillic, since it is part of a unique document identifier."

Note from asker:
Discussion
Kind of transcript or record as a supplement to high school certificate.
General Secondary Education if translated literally, High school is equivalent,
City School
