Hello everyone,
This is for a door to a factory: "Toutes les fermetures se feront en 2 points minimum par verrou discal à serrage progressif."
Some kind of sealing cylinder bolt?
Any help would be appreciated!

disc padlock
When in doubt with engineering look at pictures. A search for "verrou discale" on Google.fr images showed nearly all padlocks in a disc shape. A guess at "disc padlock then throws up confirmation that this is a thing in English, and the images show they look the same. Clicking on an image brings up more info eg

Note from asker:
Hi Ben, Not sure how the "serrage progressif" fits in the picture with a padlock. And would an industry door use a padlock as one of the two necessary locking points? |

: No, I don't think so. My ref above shows part of a disk which is effectively part of a helix, so turning the handle turns the "screw" and creates the "serrage progressif". A rotary wedge, in effect.
