Hi folks.
I have read all the Kudoz and I am still not satisfied.
Everywhere I look I get 'putting on the market' or some such. But that does not seem to fit here (to me, at least). This report has nothing to do with GMO products. The text has to do with requirements for cryptography software. Some of the offending sentences are:
Während des Inverkehrbringens sowie bei Bedarf kann ein neues Schlüsselpaar im Kryptografiemodul generiert werden.
or
Nach dem Inverkehrbringen darf das Live-System dauerhaft nicht mehr administrierbar sein.
or
Betriebssysteme verfügen über Mittel, um die Beeinflussung der rechtlich relevanten Software durch andere Software während des Betriebs, nach dem Inverkehrbringen, zu verhindern.
This does not appear to me to have anything to do with marketing a product. Is there some other phrase for this term that does not involve the market but essentially means the same thing? I am leaning toward 'introduction' or even 'use.'

go-live
Go-live is the time at which something becomes available for use. In software development, for example, go-live is the point at which code moves from the test environment to the production environment. As a verb, go-live means to make such an event happen.
At the time of the go-live, a system is officially and formally available to users who can then initiate transactions in the new system. As I mentioned, the context of "go live" is the process of software development. It is not the process of software use and re-use. "Going live" is the last stage of software development. It is too specialized for the present context.

Discussion
Die Texte scheinen ziemlich sicher vom Metrologischen Institut der PTB zu kommen und beschäftigen sich mit der Software für metrologische Vorrichtungen.
Live-System steht hier übrigens für CD, DVD oder Flash-Laufwerk.
Inverkehrbringen bezieht sich in vielen anderen PTB-Texten häufig auf die Messvorrichtung, die diese Software nutzt.
Ich hätte kein Problem, das Inverkehrbringen hier in der üblichen - vielleicht etwas erweiterten - Bedeutung zu verwenden.
