English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) Resin production
The full sentence:

This prevents the resin from seizing and carbonizing due to resin remaining for a prolonged period.

What is seizing resin mean?
Expanding?
Or sticky to the molding?

It means sticking to the surface it’s in contact with. Binding might be more appropriate.
