Dear Colleagues! I need help with the following term "GALERA". Some context below:
EJE PORTA HÉLICE DE PASO VARIABLE:
En el respaldo de la hélice, hacia proa y en contacto con la misma, tiene una pieza, llamada GALERA, que es el conjunto que asegura el no ingreso de agua a la bocina, donde gira el eje. La GALERA, se sella con tres retenes con labio de sello que se fijan al tubo de la bocina y sus labios están en contacto con la superficie de la galera, evitando la entrada de agua al tubo de la bocina.
