Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): Tom in London, Rachel Fell

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

expected average future earnings

you can add "normal" after expected, but it makes no sense when you talk of averages

disagree philgoddard : Reddito is income/revenue.

revenue is better, but one says "corporate earnings" . Not sure if profits or merely positive cash flow

expected average future income/revenue

Reddito means income, ie turnover, not earnings, ie profit. That's an important difference.

average expected future ordinary income

Thanks for this one! First I thought, probably it is something like "expected average future returns under normal circumstances /ceteris paribus". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceteris_paribus

But did a search for reddito normale and got a lot of hits for normal income, which I think is the same as ordinary income, which is a financial term.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/o/ordinaryincome.asp

This link refers to reddito medio atteso which means expected (forecasted) average income. http://www.omniaconsulting.it/hcm/hcm6234-25_3904-Formula pe...

The order of the words are important here, as average forecast has a different meaning from forecast average.

So my answer would have been "expected future average ordinary income" but changed to "expected average ordinary income for the future" to avoid having three adjectives next to each other, which is arguably why the Italian word order is what it is here.

However, future ordinary income seems to be the top search find here, and so would like to fit the other words around that as primary target and then incorporate the common "expected future" phrase also. https://www.taxlawforchb.com/2019/12/sale-of-a-contract-ordi...

Presumably this has to do with scenario planning, so the average projected income from a variety of scenarios.
