UK English – Lorry / HGV trailer
I know what this is, but don't know what it would be called in the context of fitting out an HGV trailer. It's basically the metal skirting fitted around the inside of the trailer body. I'm not sure whether to call it skirting or kickplate or whether it would be called something else in this context.

Kickplate
Put up as a suggestion so that we can get an entry into the glossary but this word was actually suggested by the asker in her original question.
Note from asker:
Full points if it turns out to be right as a) I'm feeling generous and b) your link with photos was what decided it. However, a little complication has arisen in the form of a "plinthe basse"; so, I'm asking the client to clarify. |

Comment: "Thanks. I never got any reply from the client when I pointed out the problem with having found that there was also a "plinthe basse" of the same dimensions and they seem to have accepted "kickplate", which seems right to me."

So I'll put it up but only expect the minimum of points for this
"Plinthes aluminium HD renforcées nervurées hauteur 160 mm ; Étanchéité renforcée par cornières d’angles intérieurs avant, en applique sur les plinthes ;"
