Dear linguists,

I am trying to translate the following sentence related to the engine of a rally racing car. It's among the technical specifications, so there's not much more context.

"collettore d’aspirazione a 4 farfalle (una per cilindro)."

My doubt regards the "4 farfalle".
My guess is "4-valve throttle-body intake manifold (one per cylinder)".
Is that correct? Can it be simplified?
