Spanish term

agregados

Spanish to English Social Sciences History
This is a text about the exploitation of Indigenous peoples by the Spanish and then the independent nation in Argentina:

sharecroppers

Peer comment(s):

agree JaneTranslates : Especially since this is a list of terms, each in quotation marks, "sharecroppers" would be the first term to come to my mind. The quotation marks indicate that these are terms in actual usage among the people in that time and place.

agree Chema Nieto Castañón : Yes, also tenant farmers, or sharecroppers, as Brent puts it. But probably your option tenant labourer is more appropriate as it is a bit more wider than just "farmer".
