Unsponsored trainee

Note from asker:
Patrocinare significa difendere, sostenere in giudizio, grazie comunque.

trainee lawyer/advocate without full rights of audience

Under Italian law, a trainee lawyer or advocate may substitute the instructed advocates or counsel at certain hearings after having completed 9 months of a traineeship. This is why I have said without FULL rights. But it simply means that a trainee lawyer has has not passed the bar exam may not independently represent claimants or plaintiffs before the courts but may act as agents or representatives on court cases.
