: Yes, but it should be part of an echocardiogram, not an ECG!

Comment: "More from John Beattie, author of Medical Abbreviations Spanish-English / Abreviaturas Médicas Español-Inglés:
As members of ProZ.com have suggested this is a typo. It should read FE Biplano.
FE Biplano = “Fracción de eyección por método de Simpson biplano”.
The equivalent English abbreviations are EF (BP) or EF (biplane). These abbreviations mean: “Ejection fraction by
Simpson’s biplane method”.
Questions VfdVI MOD BP and VVsVI MOD BP:
Question VfdVI MOD BP:
I can confirm that the Spanish abbreviation VfdVI = “Volumen de fin de diástole del ventrículo izquierdo”
and that the
equivalent English abbreviation is LVEDV (Left ventricular end-diastolic volume).
The part MOD BP on both the above questions relates to the method used to calculate the volume measurements.
MOD BP = “Método de discos biplano”. The equivalent English abbreviation is also MOD BP “Biplane method of discs” / “Method of discs, Biplane”.
The full English translation you require for VfdVI MOD BP is LVEDV MOD BP.

Discussion
La concurrencia de ECG y LVEDV en tu por otro lado interesante artículo no implica relación entre ambos:
LGE [late gadolinium enhancement] strongly correlated with the presence of cardiac symptoms, ECG abnormalities, VT [ventricular tachycardia], LVEDV [For every 10% increase in LGE, the LVEDV increased 9.1 mL in volume], and LVEF (P < 0.001).
Fíjate (también en tu artículo), por ejemplo:
Endocardial and epicardial contours were manually delineated in end‐diastolic and end‐systolic short‐axis slices to determine LV and RV end‐diastolic volumes (LVEDV and RVEDV), end‐systolic volume, LVEF, RVEF, and LV and RV end‐diastolic masses, which were indexed to body surface area.
