Comment: "Good research.
Russian equivalent: введение в дело(использование) целиком.
Appreciate your help, and now the sentence will not only be correct, but clear. It was written to differentiate using the company as a single unit, versus in parts, and under its own command, versus delegated to others."

Compact
Compact deployment, like soccer teams - notably FC Kiev Dynamo and Moscow Dynamo, 'die defensiv kompakt spielen' (when the German-speaking radio or TV commentator can't think of anythig else to say).
Example sentence:
The United Kingdom originally deployed a compact army headquarters staff (commanded by a brigadier)

Discussion
I am afraid I can't help any more as my DEU/ENG Ordnance (and not Ordinance) Military dictionary gives only the collocation of 'geschlossene Ortscaft' as a 'built-up area'.
Right now it is important for me to understand what the word literally means, as it was not in military dictionaries that I rely on,
Then see the whole sentence, to see what word choice is best.
