: La réponse est juste mais n'a pas de sens dans le contexte. On peut sécuriser des endroits, lieux, emplacements, locaux 'where' dans lesquels l'on tient nos activités.

OTOH a company would not be operating ONLY in "warehouses" but within the whole "wharf", maybe renting a part of it that would include more than just a warehouse. Asker can check. What is 101% sure is that in this sentence "wares" is pure nonsense / obvious error.

Looks like a security company specialised in ports. In fact no, it's a (logistics?) company operating in wharfs that is planning its own security arrangements.
