: That seems to be almost the right track, but a lifting point can't be described as a "zone".

I agree that "zone" seems odd, but given the context (i.e. the machine seems to be fitted with these "zones" and "lifting *areas*" is also sometimes [incorrectly?] used in English), I suggested "lifting points".
