I do not think accidental death is correct - this is a full life insurance policy, but not an endowment policy.

Ablebensversicherung (auch Risikolebensversicherung, Risikoversicherung oder reine Ablebensversicherung genannt) ist ein relativ einfaches Versicherungsprodukt: verstirbt der Versicherungsnehmer während der Laufzeit, dann gelangt die vereinbarte Versicherungssumme zur Auszahlung. überlebt der Versicherungsnehmer die vereinbarte Versicherungsdauer, dann erfolgt keine Leistung.

Er- und Ablebensversicherung are two different things if I understand correctly.

neutral TonyTK : Not quite, Andrew. This is about "life cover"; the ADI policies only pay out if it's an accident (as opposed to having a heart attack in front of the telly).
