This is a phrase used in a letter welcoming a new CEO to a bank. It starts out "Hi XXX, welcome to [bank name]." Then it says "Vi glæder os rigtig meget til noget fuglesang fra oven." I have interpreted this in context as meaning "We are really looking forward to getting going." (or at least, that's my best guess). Obviously they don't really mean that they are looking forward to "some birdsong from above" :) What is this phrase normally supposed to mean? I've never run into it before.
