Dylan Edwards (asker) Apr 9, 2019:
It will remain a mystery... It certainly isn't a translation from French.
Alžbeta Takácsová Apr 9, 2019:
May be the original document was French? Thus the spelling...
Dylan Edwards (asker) Apr 9, 2019:
It's an obscure word, whether it's spelt with 'qu' or 'k' - but 'fascicular' / 'fasciculated' seems to be the meaning.
Alžbeta Takácsová Apr 8, 2019:
@ Dyla: There you, misspelling :)
Dylan Edwards (asker) Apr 8, 2019:
@ Alžbeta:
This seems possible, though I don't know why the word is randomly spelt in a French way! (Yesterday I did come across a French-English ProZ question where 'paquet', in the phrase 'paquet ganglionnaire', is rendered at 'bundle' or 'cluster').
'Paquet' also looks like a name, of course, as suggested by Roni_S, but I can't relate this to anything that appears in the article.
Alžbeta Takácsová Apr 8, 2019:
I am just guessing bundle as from "paket(a)"
Roni_S Apr 7, 2019:
Dylan Could it have anything to do with Paquet's classification of varices? Really just a wild stab, but you never know.
