French term
coût de revient
French to English
Bus/Financial
Real Estate
I am struggling with the translation of a calculation of the "coût de revient avec financement sur 20 ans" on an investment property. Everywhere I look, this term is translated as "cost of goods sold" but I can't see how this makes sense in the context.
The table gives:
1. property value
2. VAT (which the buyer doesn't pay)
3. "apport" (I guess I should translate this as contribution)
4. Amount to finance (=property value - tax - contribution)
5. Rental income
6. Duration of loan
7. TEG (which I know is Taxe Effectif Global)

true cost
This is connected to the TAEG - the true cost of the loan, not just the interest rate quoted.
Le TAEG vous permet de calculer le prix de revient « tout compris » de votre crédit et de comparer les offres dans leurs globalités, et pas seulement en comparant les taux nominaux.

Example sentence:
Calculate the true cost of a loan with Bankrate.com's Loan Cost calculator. ... Interest rate per year ... Monthly Payments ... This loan will really cost you $0.00.

resale expenses
Based on your list, I believe that these are the items that the seller must take into consideration when selling the property.

: It is a breakdown of what goes into the cost of purchasing the property, specifically the full/real cost of the loan.

That's an educated guess, and I'm not clear what this table is or how your phrase fits in.
