English term

plugged

English to French Other Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Hi all,

Agricultural machinery context...

As a running change, XXX is implementing an attachment selector valve as standard equipment on some compact excavators.
The selector valve will enable two attachments to be hooked up at the same time.
The operator will be able to divert flow from one attachment to the other by changing the position of the valve.
This change will remove the hydraulic quick disconnects as standard equipment and replace them with a selector valve mounted on the arm.
This selector valve will arrive >>>plugged

bouchée / obsturée / en position fermée

It really depends on how the system functions. If what they mean is that the valve is in the off position when it connects, then those translation are good.
But if what they mean is that the valve comes in line plugged and ready to go - in the sense of connected - then it means the opposite. In this case you would probably want to translate it by "connectée" or "emboitée".
