I'm looking for a translation of this part of the following sentence. It can be read in a technical datasheet of a cleaner: "Überdosierung und Quelleffekte durch zu viel Feuchtigkeit werden verhindert, nebelfeuchtes Wischen ohne kraftintensives Auswringen ermöglicht." https://www.dr-schutz.com/wp-content/uploads/Produktinfo-Spr... There is an English datasheet, but it does not contain this sentence. I've tried to translate it: "Overdosage and swelling effects produced by excessive moisture are prevented, damp-wiping without strength-intensive squeezing is possible." Who can help me? Thank you.

What does it mean? That's the first question for translating odd technical phrases. You've got a passive German construction, but that doesn't mean you have to use a passive English construction in the translation. Can you identify a subject for these phrases? The linked document uses active construction (with the product implied as the subject) so you could follow that pattern. You can also break this into two sentences: "Prevents overuse and swelling due to excess moisture. A light mist is sufficient; no wringing necessary."

Plain English. Sounds better without 'mist' and 'high force', in my opinion.
