English term

Tenant

English to Spanish Law/Patents Law (general) Herencias
Aunque conozco la traducción como "Arrendatario" o "inquilino", no acabo de entender si se refiere a eso en estas cláusulas de un fragmento de una herencia (no tengo acceso al texto completo).

-comply with the tenant's obligations in any lease under which the Property is held

- Subject to clause 5.4 and clause 5.5, my Trustees must hold the Property Fund on trust for the Property Donees who are living at my death absolutely as tenants in common in equal shares

Una vez más, gracias.

That is what I thought, but was not sure whether I was right, or not. Thanks a million. Would you please, post your suggestion as an answer, so I can award you the Kudoz. Again, thanks!
De acuerdo con John El primer tenant parece ser arrendatario mientras que el segundo copropietarios.

Agree with John.

Not so simple? Although the first case "tenant's obligation in any lease" would appear to be "arrendatario", the second case isn't so clear, in my opinion.
There is the term "tenant in common": "Tenancy in common is a situation in which two or more people have ownership interests in a property. Each owner has the right to leave his share of the property to any beneficiary upon the owner's death."

This clearly means the "owner" of the property rather than someone who pays rent to live there.
Maybe the broader context of the document would help clarify matters.

arrendatario

Using the word “Arrendatario” seems appropriate for both of these examples. It’s the word I see most frequently in any kind of legal doc that refers to tenancy or landlord-tenant agreements.

arrendatario

La frase es muy clara: agir de acuerdo con las obligaciones del arrendatario en todo el arrendamento bajo el cual la propriedad es detenida.
