I know what "Svaret kommer som ett brev på posten" means but just can't find an expression in English.
It's not quite "in a flash" is it although we often use this expression for ideas.
So what is it please in English

Maybe not the best expression, but fairly common in English. There are probably better, but I can't think of any right now.
