Spanish term

en corte de inoxidable

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Manufacturing stainless steel mixing tubes
The context is an e-mail message sent from a representative of a company dissatisfied with stainless steel mixing tubes that have been ordered from a manufacturer:

Buen dia , espero se encuentre bien disculpe la molestia pero me gustaria saber si se pudo adelantar algo con los tubos de mezcla que ud se llevo para mostrar y revisar su duracion **en corte de inoxidable** es muchisimo menor ya que seguimos con el mismo inconveniente y no sabemos que hacer pues no es rentable para nada **este corte**.

Agradezco me haga sus comentarios al respecto ya que la semana entrante tenemos la visita del XXX .

@ pclews & @ psicutrinius Thank you both.
Peter Clews Mar 5, 2018:
Totally ungrammatical! Is there really no punctuation in the first paragraph apart from the comma after "Buen dia" and the full stop at the end?
Do you have any more information about what they are talking about? Do you know anything about the "inconveniente"?
Are you sure that "tubos de mezcla" means "mixing tubes", or could it mean "tubes of mixture" (i.e., tubes full of some sort of mixture). Could the "mixture" be some sort of product used during cutting operations, e.g., a lubricant or coolant?
Trying to work out the structure of this paragraph, it seems possible to me that there should be a full stop after "mostrar y revisar", so the next bit is a new sentence: "Su duration en corte de inoxidable es muchísimo menor......".
psicutrinius Mar 5, 2018:
Not clear... I mean, not clear enough the original. Seems that the writer and the receiver speak their own language, plus that this is Latam... which makes it more difficult at first sight for a Spaniard. Let´s see: "tubos de mezcla" may mean the "assortment" of pipes or "the pipes for mixing". As for "corte de inoxidable", while inoxidable means, unambiguously, "stainless", unless he means that the pipes were (earlier) carbon steel, that, for corrosion reasons, they were changed by stainless steel and now it seems that the stainless does not meet the strains in the installation (first thing I have thought, stainless is much softer, or not as hard, than others, and cannot be tempered), so he might mean that the "tubos", changed to stainless, seem to last less (plus most probably are more expensive than), and are not profitable.

But this is all guesswork.

when cutting stainless steel

This is speculative. See my discussion entry. Assuming a full stop after "mostrar y revisar", the next sentence (starting wth "Su") would mean "Its duration when cutting stainless steel is much less, since we still have the same problem, and we don't know what to do, because cutting like this is not at all profitable."
Note from asker:
Correction to grading comment: “I” am inclined to believe the latter.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Not really clear if the term is meant to refer to any “cutting” or “section” at all - or simply to “the stainless steel version of the mixing tube.” O am inclined to believe the latter. In any event, PC’s combination of comment and answer were the most helpful contribution to this query. Thanks to all."
