Mil gracias

One of the largest colleges at the UA, the College of Science is a nexus of award-winning programs and centers that encourage both independent and collaborative-driven research.

English term (edited): is a nexus of award-winning programs and centers
Selected

ofrece [al estudiante] programas y centros galardonados

The only meaning of "nexus" that would be plausible here (i.e., "a connected group or series") does not really make sense, and therefore neither does the use of its exact Spanish cognate of "nexo." I also think that "galardonados" produces a more concise translation than "receptors de premios". It should also be noted in this connection that, in the original, "award-winning" appears to modify *both* "programs" and "centers."
