J'ai du mal à comprendre le sens de boxed ici :
This Note specifically outlaws the practice of an athlete seeking to improve his position in races by moving onto the inside of the track (whether intentionally or after being pushed or jostled there by another athlete) to get out of a boxed position by running on the inside until clear.

Voici ma proposition :
Cette Note interdit spécifiquement la pratique d'un athlète cherchant à améliorer sa position dans les courses en se déplaçant vers l'intérieur de la piste (que ce soit de manière intentionnelle après avoir été poussé ou bousculé par un autre athlète) pour se dégager d'une position boxed en courant vers l'intérieur jusqu'à ce que soit dégagé.

Qu'en pensez-vous ?
Serait-il possible de traduire "boxed" par "encombrée" ou serait-ce un contresens ?
