Italian term
definizione aggevolata

Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Law: Taxation & Customs
Italian government budget and tax income
This comes from articles (passim) in Il Sole 24 Ore on the current discussions in the Italian Parliament on the 2018 budget (Dl fiscale).
I understand this technical phrase to mean giving extra time and/or instalments to taxpayers who have outstanding tax liability debts. 'Definizione' in this context means 'settlement' and 'agevolata' means 'facilitated', 'made easy'. I imagine there is a precise technical term in English tax law but I do not know it.
Any suggestions?

Note from asker:
Thanks. And I agree. I looked and found the equivalent terms in the HMRC website! |
Comment: "The HMRC also have a 'payment arrangement' scheme, where the 'arrangement' is contractually binding. I would assume the 'definizione agevolata' is also binding."
