Risk frequency assessment was based on the parts count method.

Parts count was realised using P&IDs of the vent header. These P&IDs show that there are 2 valves, 13 flanges and one pressure vessel between the acid gas vent header and the vent stack. It was assumed the vent header was approximately 300 m long
