When drilling through a structure thicker than the depth of the core bit, break away the round cylinder of concrete or core inside the bit at regular intervals.
To avoid unwanted breaking away of concrete around the hole, first drill a hole the diameter of the center drill completely through the structure.
Then drill the cored hole halfway from each side.

Tehát el kell távolítani, le kell tördelni, ki kell ütni, üríteni a fúrószár (ill. a fúrófej) belsejében lévő hengeres betondarabot, (magdarabot, ha úgy tetszik), hogy tovább lehessen vele fúrni. Mert ha belefúrnak a betonba a szár/fej teljes hosszáig, azátal megtelik a fej, és nem lehet tovább előretolni. Ha viszont kiürítik, akkor mehetnek tovább is.
A "cored hole" pedig maga a hengeres, henger alakú furat, amit itt fúrni próbálnak.
