Japanese term

穴深さ過小

Non-PRO Japanese to English Tech/Engineering General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
This is from an excel document, American dialect.

I'd like a quick clarification on how to use 過小 in this type of situation. Even though the literal translation for this word is "too small," should I change it to "too shallow" in this type of situation? Thank you.

the hole is too shallow / insufficient depth

If you want to avoid using small or shallow "insufficient depth" could be an option but I think "too shallow" is the best term for the depth of a hole.
