François, vous avez finalement peut-être raison qu'il s'agit de produits financiers destinés aux sociétés civiles...mais je ne suis pas certaine à 100 % :(

Thank you I have the impression this was not written by a native English speaker. I think by "civil finance" he/she might possibly mean (UK term) "consumer finance". What do others think?

Voici plus de contexte : The UK branch would not have its own balance sheet; the idea was to use the XXX balance sheet and no risk was envisaged for the branch itself.
The creation of a UK branch was subject to regulatory approval, either from Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) in France or the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA).
SG stated that the initial and current view was to offer clients products already available in XXX.
The idea was to offer credit and lending trades, civil finance products and liquidity cash management.
